Glazed Wall with

There are many choices today in wall treatments that are interesting alternatives to straight painting or wallpaper. When glazes are used, the translucency of the layers creates depth unachievable with. Add texture to a wall, and you get movement. The process featured in this photo, involves seven separate applications or steps to achieve the final result. The darker areas are applied first as large-scale amorphous drifts of color after which the entire area is covered with several lighter colored glazes. The final result resembles an old plaster or subtle marble wall.
